YONAH OF THE WYLD
When the guardian of the forest sacrifices its life to protect the land, Yonah is entrusted with the future of the whole island and its fragile successor. However, time is ticking as his father, a man blinded by guilt and bent on exploiting the land, threatens to destroy everything the remaining guardians protect. To stop him, Yonah must journey across the many biomes of the exotic island, uniting the other guardians and earning the trust of nature itself. Along the way, he matures from naive hope to hard-won wisdom, discovering that love and courage can mend broken bonds, nurture life, and bridge the divide between human and nature.
The start of the story… the audience sees the forest for the first time.
Yonah runs into a forest clearing and sees injured critters.
Yonah falls asleep and meets the creature, who comforts him in his sadness.
Yonah runs through the forest, and we see a collection of its denizens.
This project is a work-in-progress. Above are musical sketches of story ideas. A brief description of the scene is given to the right of each audio file.
