Faith has no faith in herself. She spends most of her life crippled by difficult choices... haunted, by the realization that every decision carries consequences. If something bad happened, it would be her fault. It is much easier to let others decide for her. So as graduation approaches and the pressure of adulthood looms, she joins her friends on a remote trip to Northern Canada. Perfect for celebrating her upcoming birthday, and escaping the weight of her future. Thus, they venture into the frozen wilderness, each carrying their own quiet motives for leaving civilization behind.

Isolation. Rejuvenating, but rather disturbing. Especially when one stumbles upon a secluded village, touched by the snow. The villagers are welcoming, but something feels off. As Faith and her friends become entangled with the community and its unsettling chief, she begins to see how easily people surrender their will in exchange for certainty. The horrors they uncover throw Faith into the very dilemma she has spent her life avoiding: whether to act with compassion and risk everything, or choose survival at the expense of others.

This noiseless haven quickly spirals into violence, paranoia, and despair. A veritable nightmare that doesn't end even when she sleeps. Faith finds herself riddled with choices that hold the worst of the consequences. And she is to make them, no one else. Each choice shapes not only who survives, but who she becomes. When escape no longer seems possible, she may face her darkest question yet: if every decision leads to suffering, is it better to simply not choose?
